Di Canio 1-0, not just for the goal but for the sight of Sir Trev, Mr Reasonable, Mr How-Could-Anyone-Dislike-Him, Mr Absolutely-Top-Gent, Mr Never-loses-it jumping around like a dervish on the touch-line

Jack Flash I can remember the 5-5 draw pitch was like a mud bath couldn't tell you how the scoring went or who scored for us.

Re: Your memories of Chelsea at home?
Glad to see a few others remember the completely meaningless Simod Cup game in the late 1980s.. I was also in the Chicken Run and recall Mark Ward deliberately kicking David Speedie in the cobblers right on the stroke of half-time. One of the funniest things I've ever seen, especially when everyone started singing "Where's your bollocks gone" at him.

A close second was the 5-3 game in 1986, when Doug Rougvie went to take a throw-on, and because he was so close to the crowd within 2 seconds his back was completely covered in spit! Which was nice...

Remember the cancelled game in 99..chalked up on a board tube st..we were going well at time and they werent.
rearranged game played in midweek few months later and they were bang in form and we were shit on the night.
Think it was 1-3..not certain...but remember the game because i recall a young John Terry warming up as a sub.

Andrew tbf rougvie was a hard cunt I remember that same game somebody in the chicken run threw a coin hit in right in the head and he hardly blinked picked it up and just went and gave it back to the bloke....everyone cracked up and he got a standing ovation

Back in the 1980s, 5ft nothing Mark Ward taking a punch at 6ft plus Doug Rougvie in front of the Chicken Run. I swear Rougvie missed with his retaliation punch cos he was helpless with laughter.

Back in the late 1970s the entire North Bank singing "Walker, Walker Show us your knob"
after newspaper reports that he had been flashing in a swimming pool

How about a 1 nil win in the early nineties. Morely winner and Wise sent off for a nasty two footed tackle.

Blowing the title in 1986 by losing at home 1-2, which rather took the gloss off of the 0-4 at Stamford Bridge earlier in that season. Cunts.

Around 2001 winning 2-1 on a week night.

I'm sure Carrick scored, can't remember who else.
Jimmy Floyd Hasslebank was on fire that evening - thought he'd get them the points

Dicks scabbing Spencer?

We were only about 10 feet away from it; definitely NOT an 'accident'...

There'd been some niggling and bad blood earlier in the game and it was coming down the tracks. Dicksy simply took the opportunity to scab him.

Re: Your memories of Chelsea at home?
1981 - 4-0 win at home, kicked off big time in the South Bank. The Westside went on the pitch and someone did a Zulu impression with the corner flag. Of course it was the talk of the playground with us all talking up our involvement, until Wednesday when the Recorder came out and we were all shitting ourselves in case our parents spotted us in the pictures.....

Re: Your memories of Chelsea at home?
Loads of memories but 3 great ones in particular.
Early 70s when Bonzo scored a hat trick
Late 70s when Tommy Taylor kicked their keeper in the head and Tommy Langley went in goal, think we won 4-0?
2002-03 the winner from DeCanio. My 42 year old body got so excited I nearly blacked out!!
